A: 小汪，你今天短信真多！是不是在追女孩子？
Xiǎo Wāng, nǐ jīntiān duǎnxìn zhēn duō! shì bu shì zài zhuī nǚháizi?
Xiao Wang, you've received a lot of texts today! Are you after a girl?
B: 都是一些垃圾短信。烦死了！
dōu shì yīxiē lājī duǎnxìn. fán sǐ le!
They're all spam texts. It's so annoying!
A: 垃圾短信是挺讨厌的。有一次我还收到一条短信说，你女儿病了，马上给她打一千块钱。
lājī duǎnxìn shì tǐng tǎoyàn de. yǒu yī cì wǒ hái shōudào yī tiáo duǎnxìn shuō, nǐ nǚ'ér bìng le, mǎshàng gěi tā dǎ yīqiān kuài qián.
Spam texts are pretty annoying. One time I even got a text that said, "My daughter is sick. Hurry and send her 1,000 kuai."
B: 我妈也收到过。你猜我妈怎么做？
wǒ mā yě shōudào guo. nǐ cāi wǒ mā zěnme zuò?
My mum received that one. Guess what my mum did?
A: 怎么做啊？
zěnme zuò a?
What?
B: 我妈说，不好意思，你发错了。我只有儿子，没有女儿。
wǒ mā shuō, bùhǎoyìsi, nǐ fā cuò le. wǒ zhǐ yǒu ér'zi, méiyǒu nǚ'ér.
My mum said, "Sorry, you've got the wrong person. I only have a son. I don't have a daughter."
A: 哈哈！你妈太逗了！还给骗子回短信。
hāhā! nǐ mā tài dòu le! hái gěi piànzi huí duǎnxìn.
Hah-hah! Your mom's a real tease! Texting back spammers.
A: 哟，又来了！快看看这条是谁发的？
yō, yòu lái le! kuài kàn kan zhè tiáo shì shéi fā de?
Ah, another one! Hurry up and check who sent it.
B: 哈哈！这条是我朋友发的，超搞笑！
hāhā! zhè tiáo shì wǒ péngyou fā de, chāo gǎoxiào!
Hah-hah! This one was sent by my friend. It's really funny!
A: 我也要看！快转发给我。
wǒ yě yào kàn! kuài zhuǎnfā gěi wǒ.
I want to see it! Hurry up and forward it to me!
