Teaching Nomad was founded on the basis of connecting great teachers with the great schools in China.
After moving to Shanghai, our founder, Brett, discovered a need to fill the gap between these two groups. The school’s reputation relies on its teachers. The teachers must put their trust into their school as they brave moving to a new country. Neither group wants to be let down.
Teaching Nomad is here to take all the guesswork out of the equation and make every ones job a little bit easier. Brett, having traveled through many countries also truly understands the positive impact that experiencing the world has on an individual and sees Teaching Nomad as his way of helping teachers to accomplish that.

Our mission is to improve the global teach abroad environment, provide a secure and comfortable lifestyle for our employees and positive returns for our investors. We will improve the teaching environment by providing teachers with jobs in schools they can trust, believe in and enjoy. In turn, we will provide schools with committed, excited teachers that will always maintain the highest standards of learning. We will provide a secure and comfortable lifestyle for our employees by paying competitive wages, sharing in profits and always rewarding productivity. Lastly, we will return profits to our investors by building a productive team of employees and consistently growing business by building an impeccable reputation with our field.
